Citronelle oil has a fresh lemony scent. In terms of smell and properties, citronella oil is similar to lemongrass oil and other citrus oils. It is effective as an odor remover and insect repellent in the home. Citronella oil is refreshing and uplifting and is good for headaches, fatigue and depressive feelings. It has a strong effect as a deodorant and is excellent against foot sweat and fungal infections such as athlete's foot.

Aromatherapy

Our natural essential oils can be used in aromatherapy as our essential oils are pure and extracted directly from flowers, herbs, leaves, fruits, bark, seeds, bark or roots. They have powerful effects on improving physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. For over 5000 years, aromatherapy has been a trusted element among many cultures spanning the globe. Essential oils were used by ancient Egyptians during church ceremonies to create harmony and a fragrant atmosphere. In addition, they used essential oils as antiseptics. Some of the most common reasons people use aromatherapy include relieving pain, improving sleep quality, reducing stress, overcoming symptoms of depression, and to soothe aching joints.

Aromatherapy can be performed in several different ways

 - Diffuse essential oils in air using fragrance dispenser (You can use one or more oils)

- Drip 3-8 drops of essential oil into the fragrance dispenser

- Inhale essential oils directly through the nostrils by dabbing a few drops on your wrist or on a clean cloth.

- Receive massage therapy from a professional masseuse using essential oils - Add a few drops of essential oil to your bath water.

It is good to mix with the following essential oils:

Orange, lemon, bergamot, geranium, cedar, cypress, tea tree and eucalyptus

Essential oils can be used individually or in mixtures. There are two reasons for mixing essential oils:

1) To create a more sophisticated fragrance or enhance or alter the effect of the oils

2) By mixing essential oils you change the molecular structure, and by mixing correctly you can create a mixture where the oils work together in harmony with great effect.

Foot bath with citronella oil

Put 4 drops of citronella oil, 2 drops of tea tree oil and 3 drops of cedarwood oil in a foot bath, it is soothing for tired and sweaty feet.

Then slather your feet in a thick layer of moisturizer or salve. We recommend using shea butter or one of our other body butters.

Warning !

-       Keep all essential oils out of reach of children
